The feedback showed that no matter where you go in the world, the epoxy flooring industry has the same frustrations and fears. It makes sense that it also has the same dreams and desires.

The global epoxy flooring industry wanted a verifiable benchmark of competence.
To do that, we had to be more than the largest online source of Epoxy Flooring knowledge and know-how. We needed a proven framework that would clearly define what is required to be The Complete Epoxy Installer.
The 5Rs of successful resin flooring was a concept first published in 2016 ResinJack first published back in 2016, and we have been using this framework as the basis for installer education and training, as well as the development of the Australian Resin Flooring Qualification. It has also featured in The Flooring magazine.
The Complete Epoxy Installer is now able to verify if you are The Complete Epoxy Installer and if there are any areas that need further work, we have the resources to get you competent.

Tell me more about the Founder and mentor, ResinJack.
Jack Josephsen became known as “Resin Jack” while sitting on the committee to create a new Flooring Technology qualification in
Australia.
Driving this qualification through to government endorsement was not only critical to the Australian industry but it provides a foundation
for the global industry on the journey to "make resin flooring mainstream".
Having a formal qualification for our industry means that resin installers are proudly able to have a recognised trade. However, the qualification is only the start, and now the industry needs to work together to continually improve its practices, set standards and eventually establish an industry voice.
Having spent the past 10 years establishing the foundation, Resin Jack continues to support the various stakeholders that wish to
advance themselves personally, their company or their profession within the industry.
Having a background in product formulation and manufacturing means that ResinJack can provide detailed, technical product support. Having overseen flooring installation onboard navy ship projects, as well as residential, retail and commercial projects for over 25 years ensures that project support is comprehensive.
His philosophy is simple. There is no shame in asking questions — we all started with zero knowledge. Jack's natural, patient and understanding approach ensures no one feels judged.
In addition to the practical aspects of the industry, ResinJack is often helping business owners with all the other aspects of the industry. The old saying that "It can feel lonely at the top" is very much relevant to epoxy flooring business owners.
